Tipping in Barbados
Many restaurants and hotels add a 10% service charge plus 17.5% VAT to the bill. Check the receipt before adding more — tipping on top is appreciated but never expected.
Always check the bill for "service charge" or "gratuity included" before tipping again. VAT (17.5%) is separate and not a tip.
