What to expect
The shoreline, end to end
Locally known as Enterprise Beach, this compact south-coast spot — usually called Miami Beach by visitors — is split down the middle by a low rocky outcrop.
The west side is a sheltered shallow lagoon ideal for families; the east side is more open with gentle waves.
There are picnic tables under the trees, the much-loved Cuz's Fish Stand for fish cutters at the entrance, and easy parking — a popular weekend spot for locals.
